ACTION ALERT
South Carolina Public Service Commission Virtual Hearing

The Southern Environmental Law Center has called for action on pipeline regulations with South Carolina's Public Service Commission. BREDL agrees.

Please call the South Carolina Public Service Commission no later than Thursday, June 2nd to register to speak. The actual PSC hearing will be virtual June 16th from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. When you register, tell them this is for docket 2020-247-A, Article 4.

To Register to speak, call 803-896-5100 or email contact@psc.sc.gov

The purpose of this hearing with the South Carolina Public Service Commission is to establish pipeline regulations and requirements concerning the health and welfare of the people of South Carolina. We want Dominion Energy to be completely transparent about the pipelines which they and other utilities are proposing. If adopted, this new rule drafted by Southern Environmental Law Center would require gas pipeline companies to provide information about impacts on an already vulnerable community.

BREDL will provide you with talking points before the date of the hearing on June 16th. Email us at BREDL@bredl.org

We can't do this alone. We need your help.

Let's work together to stop a dangerous and unnecessary pipeline in our backyard.

Tell your neighbors and friends. Share this email. People don't have to live in Pamplico to voice their opposition to this pipeline which will cause health problems and climate change nationwide.

Again, please call 803-896-5100 or email contact@psc.sc.gov by Thursday, June 2nd, and tell them you want to register for docket 2020-247-A concerning gas pipelines, including Dominion Energy's proposed pipeline along the Great Pee Dee River.
